Fiduciary Services
Serving as a Fiduciary is one of the cornerstones of ESBA’s service offerings. Whether our role is as a Receiver, Trustee, Administrator, or other agent, ESBA builds teams with the requisite knowledge and skills to wind down affairs, efficiently pursue asset recoveries, resolve claims, and conserve assets.

Fiduciary Duties—In performing its duties, ESBA works diligently to:
- Develop strategies to resolve distribution impediments.
- Manage claims reconciliation process–analysis, objections, settlements.
- Manage other litigation–investigation, analytical support, testimony, selection of counsel, settlements.

- Business damage claims
- Identify and liquidate assets–accounts receivable, deposits, insurance, investments, property and tax recoveries.
- Manage distributions to creditors and other beneficiaries–develop reserve analyses, confirm ownership of claims, and calculate and issue payments.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive reports as required.
- Cash management and control.
- Oversee preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Resolve other open estate issues, e.g., benefit plans, employee and operational issues.
