In the early phase of our client relationships, we ask the right questions and carefully listen to the client’s responses. In this way, we can offer the client the appropriate level of flexibility in our recommendations for effecting change. In some cases, a client will want to retain us for a narrow skill set or mandate. In others, the client will ask us to become a “partner” in assessing the client’s circumstances in order to identify the help that is needed.
